Slingbox 500 and M2 should work with Windows 10. there are people using the latest supported slingboxes including the M2 to stream on Windows 10. Keep searching the internet for regarding Slingbox and Windows 10. there are reports that it's difficult to get Slingbox to stream on Macs latest Sierra, and there's a fix for that too that people discover it but I can't recall it. however for some people it required some sort of tinkering, but I can't recall what a few people did to make it work. I have read reports from other people elsewhere that the M2 will stream using Windows 10.

have you downloaded and are you using the latest web player for Slingbox? there should have been a prompt for you to do so. It then tells me to use the desktop IE and skip the app. It keeps saying that the DISH Anywhere App finds that the IE App Is not set to use Sling Player Plug-In. However, I can't use the App I purchased. I had the same bloody issued on my Win7, but getting rid of my older security and pricacy add-ons and replaced with new and better ones did the trick for me.Ĭlick to expand. I enabled both the IE browser and the Google Chrome browser with the appropriate plug-in so that DISH Anywhere would play in a browser window. I hope you can get it resolved to work everytime. Yes, connecting to sling will require some connections beyond Sling's site, as is the case with many websites and services, its just that if it can't make all those connections, you won't be able to stream to your PC. I will add that I was able to use my webplayer icon with regular reliability (and got connected every time at the website, as well) when I changed to new and better security and privacy add-ons and dumped my old ones. I had problems in the beginning, and I found that sometimes I would have to go to the Slingbox webpage and then select the WATCH option at the top of the page. Sling made this move a while ago as well with its SlingPlayer for Web. The Slingplayer for tablet app is available on the Play Store for $14.99.I think the entire web is moving away from Plug-ins dependant on browsers, espcially Flash, which will be DEAD DEAD DEAD in a few years-FINALLY!!! YES!!!.
